Wednesday Night Programs

Wednesday Night provides spiritual formation opportunities for the whole family! Whether sitting around a table with new and long-time friends at the dinner table or participating in one of the age-appropriate Wednesday night activities, there is something for everyone. All are invited to make a reservation for the Wednesday night meal. (Fill out the form below to make a reservation.)

  • First Baptist works hard to provide a safe, inviting, and loving environment for children of all ages. Dedicated by volunteers strive each week to share the love of Christ with every child.

    • Bright Beginnings: Lower Level, Room 130

    • Music Makers: Lower Level, Room 117

    • Young Musicians: Lower Level, Room 118

  • Children in Action (CIA) offers children an opportunity to seek the heart of Jesus thro ugh spiritual practices, worship, and Bible study. CIAs also practice being the hands of Jesus through missions. In age-appropriate ways, children learn what it means to be Christian and Baptist. Through discussions, games, crafts, mission projects, activities, worship, and prayer, children discover the meaning of faith and learn how to share God’s love with those around them.

  • While the format changes from week to week, Holy Ground is an energetic, inclusive, fun, thought provoking, and always uplifting gather where everyone is welcome. Holy Ground is where friends are made, grace is given, and faith is deepened.

  • The following is a list of the various offering provided for adults on Wednesday evening.

    1) Building Blocks: Building Blocks offers a “six to eight week blocks” of study surrounding various relative topics. Study options are taught by the senior pastor as others. A list of adult Building Block options and room location is available in the newsletter or bulletin. 

    2) Growing on Grace: Formerly known as Grace Street Parents, Growing on Grace is a vibrant and welcoming group of younger adults—many of them parents—who gather weekly to grow in faith, support one another, and share the joys and challenges of everyday life.*

    3) Chancel Choir

    Our time together is equal parts encouragement and exploration. Whether you're navigating toddler tantrums, teenage drama, or just looking for a place to connect and belong, you'll find a community of fellow travelers here.

Wednesday Night Meal Reservations

Please complete this form to make a Wednesday night meal reservation.  

The cost of the meal is $10.00 per adult, $5.00 for children under 12, with the cap at $30.00 per family. Those with standing reservations are asked to pay for their meals, even if they are absent, unless reservations are cancelled by noon on Wednesday of that week.

Maximum fee per family is $30.00. Pay for your meals by check or cash the night of the meal.

Changes or cancellations to reservations must be made by Wednesday at noon.
