Easter Sunday

Celebrate the joy of Easter at First Baptist Church Greenwood on Sunday, April 5, 2026. We invite you, your family, and friends to join us for a morning of fellowship, worship, and celebration of the resurrection.

The day will begin with a church-wide breakfast at 8:45 AM in the Fellowship Hall. At 9:40 AM, we will gather in the Chapel for a special baptism service, followed by Sunday School classes at 10:00 AM. Our Easter worship service will begin at 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary.

As part of the celebration, we will have a Flowering of the Cross. Guests are invited to bring flowers to place on the cross, which will be located under the covered entrance outside the Fellowship Hall. This tradition beautifully symbolizes new life and the hope of Easter.

We will also have someone available to take family photos in front of the flowered cross during breakfast, before Sunday School and worship, and after the worship service.
