Building Hope Weekend

February 13–15

Building Hope SC invites volunteers to serve during Building Hope Weekend, February 13–15. In partnership with CBF, this weekend will focus on critical home repair projects for families in Allendale, Barnwell, and Bamberg Counties who are in need of safe, stable housing.

Volunteers will assist with a variety of projects, including ramp construction, floor repairs, subfloor replacements, and other essential home repairs. No prior construction experience is required—volunteers of all skill levels are welcome, from experienced carpenters to first-time helpers. Youth (middle school age and older) and families are encouraged to participate. Each work team will be paired with a skilled supervisor to provide guidance and support.

Building Hope Weekend is a meaningful opportunity to serve our neighbors, strengthen community connections, and make a tangible difference in the lives of local families. Volunteers are encouraged to sign up in advance.
