The mission of the Sounds of Grace senior choir is to serve God through music by providing singers (55 and older) opportunities to serve in missional capacities in settings such as elder care facilities, community support services, homebound care, and church worship. The Sounds of Grace performs as needed for church worship services, as ambassadors for Greenwood FBC, and as musical evangelists spreading the love of God through Jesus Christ to the Greenwood community and beyond.

Sounds of Grace performs both sacred and secular concerts.  The repertoire has included hymn and gospel song arrangements, audience participation music, western tunes, patriotic songs, Broadway musical selections, and nostalgic music from our choir members’ youth years. Each spring they perform a musical (western tunes, Broadway melodies, or songs from the 20’s, 30’s, and 40’s).

The choir, about 60 singers, enjoys fellowship and making music together. They rehearse on Tuesdays at 10:30 am.
